The child opened the balcony door in an unobserved moment, went out, climbed over the parapet and fell, informed the police. A witness administered first aid until the rescue team arrived. After initial treatment, the boy was taken to Feldkirch State Hospital.
The accident occurred at around 5 p.m. in an apartment building, and the four-year-old fell from the second floor. According to initial examinations in the hospital, the four-year-old was very lucky: as if by a miracle, he was apparently only slightly injured.
