A 48-year-old from the Gmunden district was riding her e-bike on the cycle path along the B158 from Strobl towards Bad Ischl. At the address Salzburger Straße 121, she collided with an oncoming cyclist, causing both of them to fall.
The other driver was part of a foreign-language cycling group with several people. After the fall, the group continued their journey towards Strobl without speaking to the 48-year-old. The Upper Austrian suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bad Ischl hospital.
The search for the driver involved in the accident was unsuccessful. Any relevant information about the second person involved can be contacted by calling the Bad Ischl police station on 059133 4103.
