Eight house searches
The investigations against the men from Bosnia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria living in Pinzgau have been ongoing since March 2024. The police carried out eight house searches, as the Salzburg State Police Directorate announced on Monday. 1.8 kg of cannabis herb, 20,000 euros in cash, 18 packages of banned sexual enhancers, small amounts of cocaine, hashish and ecstasy were seized.
Cannabis plants and prohibited weapons
The officers discovered twelve flowering cannabis plants, numerous data storage devices, drug scales and large quantities of packaging material in the apartment of a 23-year-old. However, this man was not taken into custody, a police spokeswoman explained. During the house searches, the police also seized clubbing weapons, tasers, electric shock devices, throwing stars and knives in the apartments.
The criminal investigators also solved two cases of suppression of documents and violent crimes such as serious coercion, continued violence causing serious bodily harm, dangerous threats and deprivation of liberty. The six men who are not in custody are reported to be at large.
