The president of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro He again reported that USA is pushing for a coup in his country amid international pressure demanding transparency surrounding the outcome of Sunday’s presidential election.
Accompanied by authorities from the 5 powers of Venezuela and the security forces, the president gave a press conference from the Miraflores Palace where he showed videos of attacks by violent groups and pointed out that the United States, Colombian drug trafficking and the fascist extremist right of the world are behind a plan that seeks to create the conditions for a new coup d’état against democracy and the Venezuelan people.
“Since 2023 we have been denouncing that an attempt was going to be made to use the electoral campaign with financing from the United States and Colombian drug trafficking to to assemble a shock force full of hatred, criminality and violence and to try to attack the peace of the people, the citizens, the institutions and everything before, during and after the electoral process,” said the president.

Maduro said that the government has sufficient material to prove the plots and conspiracies that occurred during 2023 and 2024 while Venezuela resumed talks with the United States and held Washington responsible for the events.

This is how they have acted for almost 200 years, assassinating presidents, world leaders and even presidents of the United States,” said the Venezuelan president who assured that John F. “They have a long history of murder and coups around the world. They are an empire accustomed to violence and coups d’état. In this regard, he said that the interest of the United States and the extreme right in Venezuela is due to the fact that the Caribbean country is “the jewel in the crown” due to its wealth in South America. “We have the largest certified oil wealth in the world, we have the fourth largest gas reserves in the world, we are the largest gold reserve in the world and we have 20% of the world’s aquifers”he commented.
He then reiterated that behind the destabilizing plan are the United States empire, Colombian drug trafficking, Elon Musk and the fascist extremist right of the world. “They came against Venezuela because they thought they could take it.
