The data comes from the latest technical bulletin on “Household and Personal Income” prepared by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), corresponding to the second quarter of 2024.
The average household income fell by more than 0.46%, while the average per capita income fell by more than 0.40%. However, the average household income remains almost 7.2% higher than that recorded in the second quarter of 2023, and the average individual income is more than 7.2%.
The average household income was 439 pesos below the estimate for the previous quarter, but 6,377 pesos higher in the year-on-year comparison. The average per capita income fell 137 pesos, but is 2,265 pesos higher than last year.
