“If we all make a little effort together, we can completely rejuvenate a club” – this is how Theresa Haas from the Steyr 1888 Rowing Club sums up what motivates her to do voluntary work.
She is one of the 65,000 people who make the Upper Austrian sports landscape so special. And: The official has been nominated for the Upper Austrian Sports Volunteering Award, which is awarded jointly with OÖNachrichten, Life Radio, TV1 and Tips.

The award is intended to highlight the many volunteers who work in the state’s 2,500 sports clubs in their free time, organizing training and events, checking finances and keeping the sports field clean. The voting phase begins today. Everyone can cast one vote for their favorite every day until August 31st.
