The London Metropolitan Police arrested a man for stabbing an 11-year-old girl and a 34-year-old woman in the area of Leicester Squarein London (England).
The attack occurs two weeks after another in Southportin the northwest of Englandwhere three girls died after being attacked with a knife in a recreational center.
Police officials said the victims were taken to a hospital, but the severity of their injuries was not disclosed.

The alleged attacker has since been arrested and is in custody, and no other suspects are being sought in connection with the incident. Although British media suggest that investigators do not regard the attack as an act of violence, terroristno official confirmation has yet been issued in this regard.
The Daily Mail website reports that Abdullaha 29 year old security guarddisarmed the attacker in Leicester Square. Abdullahemployed in the custody of a tea shop, reported that he heard a scream and saw a man stabbing a child.
