The overtime case that affected the National Party did not affect the president’s approval rating, according to a study by Equipos Consultores.
The President Luis Lacalle Pou improved its level of positive image, which remains close to half of the population, according to data collected in the latest management evaluation survey of Consulting Teams, which seem to show that the president emerged unscathed from the scandal National Party in Artigas.
The consulting firm reported that the survey was conducted using a mixed methodology with more than 1,200 people during the second half of July, while the most critical point of the overtime case that led to the ejection of Pablo Caram (PN) of the Artigas Municipality, which suggests that Uruguayans did not associate the scandal with the presidential figure.
