“Since there will apparently not be any presidential debates, it is good that, at least in economic matters, the economic teams can debate and that people can compare,” he added, criticizing the decision of Yamandú Orsi not to expose himself to events where there could be a back and forth with other presidential candidates.
In this regard, Delgado commented that it is necessary, in addition to knowing the economic proposals, who will be the members of the team, a clear shot against the Broad Front and his controversy regarding who will be a Minister of Economy and the doubts about Gabriel Oddone.
“For me, it is key that we not only compare the proposals, and that is why I am offering to debate them, but to get to know the teams. I am offering my economic team to debate with the Frente Amplio team, two models that are opposed in economic matters but also to find out who is going to carry them out, if that person is credible to do so and if they are prepared,” he commented.
