Tennis: Four times state gold for the Steyr region

Four cheers erupted in the Steyr region after the state tennis championships in Rainbach. In the women’s competition, Nadja Ramskogler from Reichraming, who plays for UTC Ried, won the titles in both singles and doubles. In the singles, the top-seeded Ennstaler did not drop a set and won the final against the number two in the tournament, Christina Wolfgruber, clearly 6:0, 6:3.

In the doubles, Nina Walter from ATSV Steyr was Ramskogler’s partner. As number two seeds, the pair beat the favorites Anna Mattle and Bettina Kreindl in the final in a thrilling match with 7:5, 5:7, 10:7.
