The Ohlsdorf Volunteer Fire Department has never had such an alarm message before: “Small animal rescue – a chicken is trapped between two fences” was what was read in a message sent to the firefighters via app late on Tuesday afternoon. “As the call code was rather amusing, two vehicles with a cheerful crew headed out to the scene of the incident on Binderweg,” reported secretary Stefan Pamminger on Wednesday.
