Cupra showed the near-production study of the Terramar back in 2022, but only now is the sporty SUV ready for the global market. The design follows the new brand language: huge ventilation openings at the front, sharp edges including a shark nose, three triangles as headlight trademarks and muscular wheel arches. Plus, of course, the copper brand logo in front of the hood. At 4.52 meters long, the Terramar competes in a competitive segment: VW Tiguan (4.51 meters), BMW X1 (4.50), Audi Q3 (4.48), Mercedes GLA (4.41) and Mazda CX-5 (4.55). But Cupra is confident, even talking about a “hero”!
Strong: 602 litres loading volume
The height is 1.58 meters, the width 1.86 meters and the wheelbase 2.68 meters. Speaking of technical data: The trunk has a capacity of 602 liters in the basic position, and the towing capacity varies between 1800 (1.5 eTSI) and 2200 kilograms (2.0 TSI 4Drive) depending on the engine. The drawbar load is the same in every version at 80 kilograms and is enough for a bike rack with three e-bikes. 18 to 20 inch tires can be fitted, the latter being a sporty 25.5 centimeters wide.
