Several communities have been declared disaster areas due to the risk of flooding: in the Zwettl district, the cadastral community of Wegscheid am Kamp in Pölla and in the Horn district, St. Bernhard-Frauenhofen, the cadastral communities of Steinegg and Altenburg/Rauschermühle in Altenburg, the cadastral communities of Rosenburg and Stallegg in Rosenburg-Mold and the cadastral communities of Gars am Kamp and Kamegg, Thunau am Kamp, Zitternberg and Buchberg in Gars am Kamp.
