“Some issues seem healthy to me, I see some edges of self-criticism, in the document and in what was said yesterday, of Peronism’s lack of understanding of the world in which it lives”Pichetto said in radio statements.
Along those lines, he continued: “I think there is a message within Cámpora itself, with ideas that are totally outdated.”
In reference to the Peronist structure, Pichetto, who has a long career in the Justicialist Party, indicated that he sees Cristina Kirchner trying to “regain the centrality of a Peronism that has no leadership and is coming off an extraordinary defeat.”
“(Cristina) has the great ability to forget the recent, to forget the creation of the figure… In that we must recognize her attitude and ability. She omits the past of the four years of Alberto Fernández, a president who was not, who was not up to the circumstances and who was the product of a political decision that she made,” added Pichetto.
