Because it no longer meets the requirements, a new vaulting center has been under construction for a year. The “stable opening” will take place on Saturday as part of the autumn festival. The net proceeds will be used to complete the unique construction project.
“We fought so hard to ensure that it would not be a riding hall, but a vaulting facility with functional rooms, such as a gymnastics room. In the new, large hall, two groups can train in parallel and I can imagine that the state championships can take place here in Braunau next autumn after years,” says SUVRV chairwoman Dagmar Miksche. Venues for tournaments are currently rare in Upper Austria, but in Braunau it is even conceivable that state championships will once again be held in the future.
