Even after 10 years, the kidnapping and alleged killing of the 43 students has not been forgotten

Ten years ago, 43 students were kidnapped – their fate is still unclear today. On the anniversary, the victims’ relatives will demonstrate on the streets around the monument and demand justice.

The night of September 26, 2014 was a night of terror for the students of the Ayotzinapa Teachers’ College in the southern state of Guerrero. It is still unclear what happened to them and why corrupt police officers arrested the young men in the city of Iguala and handed them over to a drug cartel, which presumably killed them.
