A bus driver left the road while trying to avoid a truck and came to a stop in a field. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was no longer able to maneuver the bus back onto the road. The Schiedlberg fire brigade and the technical train from the Steyr fire brigade arrived.

Using a crane and precise coordination, the heavy vehicle was lifted back onto the road. The entire rescue operation took several hours, the emergency services reported. The affected road had to be closed for the duration of the operation. Nobody was injured.
