The edition contains 90 songs that the popular entertainer, who would have turned 90 on September 30th, published in German-speaking countries between 1956 and 2014. The pairing was put together by his children Jenny and John Jürgens, who had to choose from 550 worldwide single releases.

“Udo’s charisma is unbroken. We are full of gratitude and are always aware that it is his work that makes this success possible and the great loyalty of his fans,” Jenny and John Jürgens were quoted as saying in a broadcast. On November 26th, Pepe Lienhard will perform with the orchestra and guests as part of the “Udo Jürgen Da Capo Tour” in the Wiener Stadthalle. An extensive retrospective will also be released in winter 2024, which includes a representative selection of over 50 studio and live albums.
