CABARCO (Argentine Chamber of Cocktail Bars) presents the first edition of Bs As Cocktail Week, a pioneering event that will be held from November 4 to 10 in different bars and iconic places in the City. Declared of cultural interest by the Buenos Aires Legislature, this festival will offer exclusive discounts, in addition to an agenda full of free activities and experiences for cocktail lovers.
The event will also have The Cocktail Bar Awards, which will recognize the most outstanding of Argentine cocktails.
CABARCO, the Argentine Chamber of Cocktail Bars, officially presented the first edition of the Bs As Cocktail Week. An unprecedented event that consolidates Buenos Aires as a benchmark for world cocktails and was declared of cultural interest by the Buenos Aires Legislature. More than 80 bars have already joined the celebration.
Between November 4 and 10, the city will dress up to celebrate cocktails with events, unique experiences, conferences, discounts for the public and the first delivery of the Cocktail Bar Awards, which will reward the most outstanding of Argentine cocktails.
Inspired by the cocktail weeks that are a global phenomenon in cities like London, New York and Madrid, the Bs As Cocktail Week is an invitation to discover the flavors and creativity of Buenos Aires cocktails. More than 80 bars will participate in this celebration, launching special prices for this week.
“We want to revolutionize the cocktail industry in Argentina and we already started in Buenos Aires. We owed our cocktail week,” says Eduardo Demaestri, president of CABARCO. “We have seen the success of the Cocktail Weeks in Europe and we are excited to bring this concept to a city with an exciting and diverse nightlife. And we are going to continue doing activities in the rest of the country. “This is just the beginning.”
“Bs As Cocktail Week is a celebration of our cocktails, our industry, but it is also an opportunity for all of us to come closer and discover our city from a new perspective,” proposes Germán Lacanna, director of Bs As Cocktail Week.
About The Cocktail Bar Awards: from Argentina to the world Award that will reward the best of national cocktails with categories that will award bars, bartenders and cocktails, among others.
In the “Bar Ambassador” category, bartenders must send a video and present a cocktail (which can be emblematic of their bar or an original creation). The grand prize will be a trip to London, one of the meccas of international cocktails.
“Bartenders are the engine of our bars. We are looking for the best bar ambassador. The grand finale will be at the closing party of Bs As Cocktail Week,” explains Adriano Marcellino, director of the Cocktail Bar Awards.
The public will be able to access a pre-sale of cocktails with special discounts through the official Bs As Cocktail Week app, available for iOS and Android and the official website cocktail.cabarco.org. In addition, through these platforms, users will be able to closely follow all the activities and access the promotions of the participating bars.

November 4: grand opening party at the Innovation Park, an exclusive event with signature cocktails and the presence of leading figures from the world of cocktails in a vibrant and modern environment.
November 5, 6 and 7: keynote conferences at the Premier Theater, where industry leaders will address topics such as sustainability and new trends in the sector.
November 5 and 7: Cocktail Bar Awards: national competition, where the best bartenders will compete for the title of Bar Ambassador and a trip to London.
From November 4 to 10: Cocktail Week in the bars of Buenos Aires, with tastings and special promotions in more than 80 venues in the city.
November 10: Closing and awards party at the Art Media Complex, where the winners of the Cocktail Bar Awards will be announced. a celebration that will mark the end of a unique week.
In parallel to the main activities, Bs As Cocktail Week will offer unique experiences in unexpected locations, combining cocktails with the culture of the city of Buenos Aires. Coffee cocktails at a specialty coffee shop, spicy cocktails at a Mexican restaurant, talks about cocktails and their history at a vinyl store, a barbershop, and an antique store, among other activities.
