“You want to feel the atmosphere at this trade fair. Here you can build personal trust with your customers,” says Michael Größbötzl, spokesman for the “Galerie des Wohnen”, which has been an integral part of Haus & Bau in Ried for more than 20 years. This year, the largest trade fair for building and living in Austria will take place in autumn from Friday, November 8th to Sunday, November 10th. At the Galerie des Wohnen, twelve companies from the region present various solutions for construction, renovation and furnishing. “The combined expertise of the exhibitors allows visitors to save time and money. Specific questions can be discussed on the spot with competent staff across all sectors,” says Großbötzl. In total, there are around 200 exhibitors at Haus & Bau, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the three days, presenting their products and services in Halls 12 to 19.

“I think that we can give the regional (construction) economy important impulses with Haus & Bau. In my opinion, confidence is necessary because it’s not all just a drama and a tragedy. We are in good spirits,” says Rieds Trade fair director Helmut Slezak.
There will also be around 70 specialist lectures over the three days, which are included in the admission price. “Last year, 96.6 percent of visitors said that they would recommend Haus & Bau to others.” That is an exceptionally high value, says Slezak. “As a regional craft business, we attach great importance to our presence in Ried. Haus & Bau offers the perfect stage for this,” says Michael Reiter, Managing Director of Fox Boden GmbH.
