The authorities justified the measure given that it “caused service interruptions, million-dollar losses to the State and irreparable damage to the citizens”.
The Ministry of Justice of the Nation announced the decision through a statement published on the official account on the social network X (ex Twitter).
“This Administration will not allow extortion, violence, escraches or threats of any sector that interrupt the normal development of state obligations and functions,” they expressed from the portfolio.
They also warned that those who do not show up for work, or participate in unauthorized activities by the Ministry, will be punished as established in the corresponding legal regimes.
