The last month of the year began with strong competition between brands of cars for positioning their models in the highest places in the patent ranking.
toyota comfortably leads the sales of the month and the year. In these five days, it has a 31.2% share of operations, while Volkswagen is in second place with 12%.
To have a more solid data than that of a few days, in the annual accumulated, the Japanese brand has 21.8% of sales against 16.5% of the German one.
A curious fact has to do with the ““war” of the pickups, especially for the second place that they dispute ford Ranger and the Volkswagen Amarok. The Toyota Hilux is the leader by a wide margin.
But the competition for that second place has a sign to take into account at the beginning of December.
For three months – since the launch of the restyling – the German had been winning the bid, although in the annual cumulative total it is favorable for the oval.
However, in these first five days, the Ranger is ahead of the Amarok by three units. According to data as of Friday, 254 units have been patented compared to 251 for Amarok. There is a long way to go before the end of the month, but it seems that December has an uncertain end.
