Do you still remember? About the Corona period? When Skoda presented its electric hammer called Enyaq and thanks to the mixture of “extreme popularity” and “pandemic” the delivery time added up to 18 months? The time between ordering and delivery has now shrunk to a manageable three to four months. But with the facelift model that the Czechs presented on Wednesday, the time until the keys are handed over could increase significantly again due to exuberant desires. Because the developers in Mlada Boleslav have done a great job.
Continuous light strip
The radiator grille, which is not one (electric motor!), is now much narrower across almost the entire width of the vehicle and leads to four LED lines on the left and right. In between, many slanted lines work together with these same daytime running lights to create a continuous strip of light. In Skoda-speak this is called “tech deck face”. We say: a mischievous face. The Matrix LED headlights were integrated into the bumper. A large, black grille opens in the lower part of the face, which optimizes aerodynamics. The designers gave the side view a striking touch with two thick folds. And at the rear the Czechs left the lights as they were. The 19 to 21 light alloy inchers now also feature new design creations.
