The Colombian hitch Juan Fernando Quintero said goodbye this Thursday to racing with a video on social networks in which he thanked them for the support “during the most difficult moments” of his life.
Quintero, who played in the “Academy” for the last year and a half and was a fundamental piece in the conquest of the South American Cuprecognized that “Every game in the Cilindro was special, I will carry that passion that is experienced in Avellaneda with love everywhere I go”.
Furthermore, he highlighted that “We experienced the goals and victories as one, but without a doubt the support they gave me during the most difficult moments of my life is something that I will never forget and I will never find the words to thank them for so much.”

Finally, he assured that he leaves “with his head held high, proud to have defended these colors and wherever football takes me I will be an ambassador of the greatness of Racing”, and closed: “One last thing: thank you for making me champion of America”.
Quintero played 51 games for Racing, in which he scored 13 goals and distributed nine assists.
His new team will be América de Cali from his country, since he asked the leadership to be sold to a Colombian club for a family matter.
