The terrorist organization Hamas released eight more hostages on Thursday. When the 80-year-old Gadi Moses and 29-year-old Arbel Yehud to the Red Cross in Chan Yunis, there were chaotic and threatening scenes.
Israel then exposed the planned release of Palestinian prisoners “until further notice” – the buses with the released Palestinians finally only started in the evening.
When handing over the German-Israeli hostages Moses and Yehud, black-clad and hooded fighters of the militant Palestinian organization of Islamic jihad had previously pushed the hostages from head to toe with a screaming and threatening crowding crowd to the Red Cross vehicles. The 80-year-old Moses was pushed back and forth, Yehud seemed very frightened.
It was originally planned that in return for the eight hostages, 110 Palestinian prisoners will come from Israeli prisons, including 30 minors. Instead of noon around noon, the buses with the Palestinian prisoners only drove from the Israeli Ofer prison near Ramallah in the evening. Video images showed how the buses were accompanied by Israeli military vehicles.
“Souvenirs” for soldier Berger
The soldier Agam Berger was released from Hamas on Thursday morning. It was led through the crowd to a stage by Hamas fighters in the north of the Gaza Strip and asked to wave the screaming people, which she hesitated while filming it by a Hamas fighter. Her hostage-takers handed over a bag with “souvenirs” and a gold-framed “certificate”.
