The first part of today’s Linz council meeting was formal and solemn. After the beaten election, Governor Thomas Stelzer praised the election winner Dietmar Prammer (SP) as the new mayor of Linz. Numerous guests of honor attended the short ceremony. In addition to Stelzer, SP State Councilor Michael Lindner, the third President of the state parliament Peter Binder (SP) and State Office Director Thomas Schäffer were there. The latter had the task of performing the vow formula.
