The Anti -corruption office (OA) ordered changes in the regime of Comprehensive patrimonial affidavits for intelligence agenciesthrough resolution 1/2025, published in the Official Gazette.
The regulations modify the MJYDH Resolution No. 1000/2000 and establishes that the presentation of affidavits of intelligence officials must respect the secret and confidentiality provided for in the National Intelligence Law No. 25,520 and its regulations. In this context, the documentation will remain under the guard of the Human Resources area of the State Intelligence Secretariat.
The head of the OA, Alejandro Erasmo Guillermo Melik, resolved that Only the higher authorities of the intelligence agencies, whose designation has been published in the Official Gazette, must appear on the payroll of officials obliged to present affidavits before the OA. The Secretary of Intelligence, the director of the Argentine Intelligence Service, the director of the National Security Agency, the director of the Federal Cybersecurity Agency and the Inspector General of the Division of Internal Affairs.
The resolution also replaces institutional references in current regulations, establishing that the OA depends exclusively on the Ministry of Justice.
These changes seek to adapt the regime of affidavits to current legislation, guaranteeing both transparency in public management and the security of information in the field of intelligence agencies.
