Women’s Day: Hundreds of thousands went on the streets worldwide

In eastern Ukraine, numerous demonstrators made a minute’s silence in honor of the women who were killed against the Russian invasion in the defense of the country. In Jakarta, activist Ajeng accused the Indonesian government of budget cuts, which led to “women lose their rights”.

In Mexico, where, according to UNs, an average of ten women are murdered per day, thousands demonstrated in the capital Mexico City. In Venezuela, around 150 demonstrators gathered in the capital of Caraca. For fear of repressing the security forces, most of them covered their face. Among other things, they called for the release of the political prisoners, which are recorded by the government of President Nicolás Maduro.
