Borussia Dortmund won with Marcel Sabitzer with a 2-1 win in Lille Duelle with FC Barcelona. Arsenal and Aston Villa are also in the quarter -finals.
Alaba, who had played through in the league for the first time since his serious knee injury at the end of 2023, was not used as in the first leg.
