Reading enthusiasts should paint red on April 25th in the calendar. For the fourth time, libraries across the country offer a diverse program at a late hour, but especially for children and adolescents. There are readings, game and reading evenings, exchanging exchanges and much more. Here are tips for offers in the region:

Eferding: Stadtbücherei manager Leonore Geißelbrecht and her team start in the afternoon with a “plant stye”, in which room and young plants as well as seeds are replaced. A “quiz evening for Obergscheidln” begins at 7 p.m. with 80s quiz and hits Music Bingo.

Alcove: Father Ferdinand Karer is a guest in the public library at 7 p.m. The former director of the Dachsberg high school tells of his pilgrimage at the end of his career from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela, mostly along the coast.

Boltskirchen: The program starts at 6 p.m. in the community library. Under the motto “Blind Date in the library”, book workers present their favorite books, the books are packed in newspaper and offered for loan. There is also a reading with Monika Nagel, which reads from the books “Disgamination” and “Quantum jump”.
