67,903 children are currently visiting an Upper Austrian care facility, 323 more than last year. This emerges from the annual childcare monitor of the state of Upper Austria, which the responsible deputy governor Christine Haberlander (VP) presented together with educational director Alfred Klampfer this morning.
In the detailed evaluation it becomes clear that the expansion decided in December 2022 is preceded by childcare in Upper Austria. 83 new groups in Krabbelstuben and 31 new companies were opened in the year, and a total of 8653 children are currently visiting one of the 457 companies.
