During a friendship meeting with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Congressthe ambassador Kirsty Hayes asked the Unión por la Patria deputy, Agustina Propatoto remove or change the shirt he was wearing, to It displayed an image of the Falkland Islands. If not, they ask me to get out of the photo,” he said in a video that captured the exact moment and was uploaded to social networks.

Hayes managed to respond: ”We too have fallen”to the visible discomfort of legislators Margarita Stolbizer and Martín Tetaz, who were present, and the latter also asked Propato to change his shirt so they could all take the photo together.

The deputy Lisandro Almirón of La Libertad Avanza was appointed to preside over the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United Kingdom. The meeting took place in the White Room of the Legislative Palace and was attended by the director of Parliamentary Diplomacy and International Cooperation of the Chamber of Deputies, Luciana Termine; the GPA coordinator, Patricia Cardo; and from the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Argentina, Constanza Galli and Lara Manovi
