When we work as a group in the collective construction of knowledge, virtuality opens up a range of possibilities for us to explore. There are a multitude of valuable digital instruments and platforms to encourage collaborative work when learning a language online. Through collaboration devices such as breakout rooms, discussion forums, and shared documents, students can work together on projects, conduct group skill-building activities, and share learning experiences. This not only promotes the exchange of ideas and active language practice, but also cultivates teamwork and collaboration skills that are essential in today’s work environment.

At the University Language Center we are launching our Spring Quarterly Courses, which include English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian. The classes are group classes, taught via Zoom and last 3 months, with Certificates and Diplomas from the UBA upon completion.
