Fire in a factory in Avellaneda: 17 fire crews worked

The incident was located in Almafuerte and Montes de Oca. According to the first information, there would be flames about 30 meters high and the neighbors self-evacuated.

A large fire broke out in a copper and plastic cable factory in the Buenos Aires town of Avellaneda and about 17 fire crews were working there.

The incident began around 4 this Friday in a building located at the intersection of Almafuerte and Montes de Oca streets and, according to the first information, there were flames about 30 meters high, for which the neighbors self-evacuated.

According to reports, fire crews from the Buenos Aires towns of Avellaneda, Lanús, Wilde, Sarandí and Dock Sud.

Meanwhile, it was reported that some parts of the factory ceilings had fallen and, although it was reported that the fire would be controlled, this was not confirmed by the personnel in the area.
