Elisa Carrió renewed his criticism of national governmenton this occasion on the occasion of the departure of Diana Mondino of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship. The leader of the Civic Coalition (CC) denounced “the disagreement” with the former official and “McCarthyism in the Foreign Ministry.”
The former deputy got fully involved in the controversy over the ejection of Mondino from the San Martín Palace, decided by Javier Milei after Argentina will vote at the United Nations (UN) against the US embargo on Cuba. The event put an end to the economist’s diplomatic career, whose future had been hanging by a thread for months.

Thus, Carrió referred to the situation on his social networks and assured that “Only dictatorships maintain that forms are not important.”
“There was mistreatment with the former chancellor and there was McCarthyism with the chancellery. This is complete vulgarity and supreme ignorance,” The Chaco woman denounced, in a post made on her X account.

Diana Mondino was fired from the Foreign Ministry.
According to its historical position, Argentina rejected, once again, the embargo that the United States maintains on Cuba, in a session where 187 countries voted in favor, while only the United States and Israel voted against and Moldova abstained.
The position, beyond the wishes of the chancellor, has to do with a historical line of conduct that the country follows at the international level.
After the event, the President’s Office explained that the chancellor “resigned” and spoke of “identifying the drivers of agendas inimical to freedom.”
““Argentina is going through a period of profound changes, and this new stage requires that our diplomatic corps reflect in each decision the values of freedom, sovereignty and individual rights that characterize Western democracies.”says the text.

Elisa Carrió’s harsh criticism of the Government
In recent weeks, the leader of the CC began to raise her profile, with harsh criticism of Javier Milei’s management. In addition, she already anticipated that she will be a candidate in the 2025 legislative elections.
Days ago, Carrió specifically targeted the Minister of Economy, Luis “Toto” Caputo. “What a beautiful financial cycle they are putting together. How they earn and how happy the friends of Toto, the minister, are,” he shot.
And, in the same message, he asked that “Adorni explains in his role as social communicator of good news so that all Argentines enter into the game of a few. This way we are all happy and eat partridges.”
Previously, regarding Milei’s strategy of polarizing with Cristina Kirchner, he evaluated: “I get the impression that this boy is playing with fire, because if Cristina wins the province of Buenos Aires, the Government will fall.” launched the architect of the CC in dialogue with Radio Con Vos.
The former deputy considered that “it is not a good political strategy”: “By polarizing in this way, by choosing an enemy, what you are achieving is what Cristina did: ‘Build a party and win the elections.'”
The leader evaluated that “it is not a good political strategy” since the president “it could backfire.” In his words, criticism is filtered against his former partner Mauricio Macri, who took the same strategy of confronting the former president head-on in 2019.
