Flecha Bus launched this list of requirements so you can travel with your pet to any part of the country:
- Types of pets: Transportation will be available for dogs and cats.
- Amount: The transport of one dog or cat per passenger and per container will be accepted.
- Weight: The maximum weight allowed per pet is 10 kg. with container included.
- Minimum age: 16 weeks.
- Behavior: Dogs/cats that are aggressive and may be dangerous or cause inconvenience to passengers will not be admitted.
- Documentation: A Health Certificate must be presented, issued by a veterinarian, stating that the animal is in optimal health conditions to make the trip. This must be done up to 10 days before the travel date. Vaccination certificate that includes rabies vaccine applied at least 21 days before the travel date and no more than one year old.
- Health: Dogs/cats with veterinary treatment will not be allowed.
- Hygiene: The dog or cat must be sanitized in order to avoid discomfort among passengers.
- Store: Pets will not be transported in the hold.
- Transport: The pet must be transported in a portable kennel or container suitable for the size of the animal, in which it must remain throughout the trip.
- Check in: You must arrive 1 hour before departure to check in at the ticket office.
- Available services: It may be carried out on selected services whose travel time does not exceed six (6) hours.
