The recognition granted consisted of a unicorn sculpture, created by UNIQUEER, which symbolizes the unity and diversity of the LGBTIQ+ community. The figure of the unicorn, decorated with the pride flag, reflects the uniqueness of each identity within the community.
Amnesty International also expressed concern about the setback in gender and diversity policies in Argentina. Since December 2023, there has been an increase in hate speech and a weakening in the protection of the rights of diversity.
