The Argentine driver had a terrible day in Qatar, where he first finished second to last in practice and then in last place in qualifying for the Sprint race on Saturday.

The Argentine pilot Franco Colapinto (Williams Racing) was in last place in the classification of the Sprintwith a time of 1:23,423in it Lusail International Circuit of the Qatar Grand Prix.

The Argentine barely made a turn with his Williams Racing and he had finished fourteenth in his first lap, but as the minutes passed and he entered the pits, he was finally in last place in the standings.

For this reason, the man from Pilar will start in the place 20 in the Sprint Race this Saturday the 30th, at 11 (Argentine time).

Before, in practice Colapinto was 19th

The Argentine finished in nineteenth place with a time of 1:24.200 in Free Practice 1. His teammate, the Thai Alex Albon had a better practice and finished ninth, clocking 1:23.161.

The driver from Pilar was unable to get comfortable on this new circuit, having difficulties with the hard tires – with which the two Williams drivers started like the Ferrari drivers from the start – and suffered complications in turn five.

In his first lap on soft, Colapinto failed to climb in positions, improving his time in the first sector but being slower in the last two. Unlike Albon, who with the change of tires, finished third behind the two Ferraris.
