According to a survey that analyzes the current financial system, the majority of Argentines seek greater economic freedom and believe that blockchain could solve current inequality.
An investigation compared Argentina with three countries such as Kenya, the Philippines and Switzerland and asked Argentines to give their opinion on the financial system of each country and the role that can play blockchain technology to improve the current financial system.

In this framework, among the main conclusions of the report carried out by Coinbase, it stands out that:


- In Argentina, 41% of the population considers that their economic situation will be better than that of their parents, in contrast to Switzerland, where only 22% have that same expectation. Furthermore, 87% of Argentines believe that the current financial system needs profound changes, since they perceive it as expensive, slow and unstable.
- 75% of Argentines believe that the local financial system is dominated by a small group of large companies, while 70% are concerned about government controls on the dollar. Regarding the difficulties in generating money, 87% point out that interest rates play a determining role.
- 67% of Argentines do not trust banks or financial institutionsand 52% consider that there is a lack of equity in access to financial services. The majority (83%) believe that the financial system is unstable.
As for the economic freedomhe 95% of Argentines want more autonomylike being able to move your money on your own terms. This sentiment aligns with the fact that 76% of adults in Argentina agree with the use of new technologies, such as cryptocurrencies and blockchain, to solve at least one of their financial frustrations. In fact, the 87% of Argentines who own cryptocurrencies believe that the crypto universe can increase economic freedom.
