In 2015, the motivated young winemaker started her own wine line, which the market has already accepted very well with the branding “Offspring by Pfneisl”. This means nothing other than “The new generation and their new wine”.

With a new presentation, vegan, unfined and sustainably produced wines are coming to the customers, which not only convince the experts. After a few years, the first top ratings and awards appeared in several specialist magazines.

Lisa’s Offspring series starts with the Cuvée Offspring white. Half Grüner Veltliner and half aromatic Muskateller. The drinking-stimulating white comes as a light, crispy-fresh and fruity patio wine. The Offside Rosé is actually a rarity in its category. An unusual but interesting blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Berries, dark stone fruit in combination with citrus fruits are a real pleasure to drink. On top of that, the Offspring red presents another exciting cuvée. The young winemaker married the Bordeaux variety Merlot with the local “big player” Blaufränkisch. Dominated by blackberries, plums and cherries, the palate flatterer shows itself without any roughness from the wood. The exceptionally powerful Cabernet Franc “Offspring black” can undoubtedly be named as the flagship. Cassis and herbs, smoke and chocolate in the nose and a powerful wine with elegance and freshness on the palate.

The father/daughter team cultivates 23 hectares of vineyards in the best locations in Deutschkreutz: the old wine region stands above all for Blaufränkisch that is typical of its origin. The Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grow on the heavy clay soil of the Mitterberg, the red premium segment is supplemented by the Shiraz, which has been planted very successfully since the 1990s. And the well-known, powerful Cuvée Pentagon and Ried Hexenberg are red wines for great moments and testify to the motto of the Pfneisl family: Born to make wine!
