Road safety in Thailand is an outstanding debt

This case is not isolated, and seems to be common news in the Asian country. In fact, Thailand has, for years, maintained one of the worst balances in terms of road safety.

According to the latest statistics, it is the second country with the deadliest routes and streets in the world. It has an average of 32 deaths in traffic accidents per 100,000 inhabitants.

This may be a consequence of their vehicles being unsafe, as well as poor infrastructure that has not improved for years. Of course, there is also the influence of bad drivers.

According to a report published by the World Health Organization, around 20,000 people die a year for these reasons. It is one of the main pending accounts to be resolved in the country.
