The Salvadoran president arrived at Congress at 2:15 p.m. and was received by the vice president and head of the Senate, Victoria Villarruel. In the meeting, televised on the Senate channel, they asked him different questions about his experience at the head of the State of El Salvador. The first issue was security, in particular the phenomenon of the gangs known as Maras. “Of all the things we do, it is the one that is best known internationally. I think it is because of the diametric change. We went from being, literally, the most dangerous country in the world,” said Bukele.
