A total of 300 firefighters joined the rescue operation in Villa Gesell after the collapse of the Dubrovnik hotel,that left three dead and five missing.
The work, which is carried out manually due to the instability of the place, continues despite the adverse weather conditions. He Provincial Director of Civil Defense, Fabián Garcíahighlighted the commitment of the rescuers, who are receiving free accommodation thanks to the solidarity of the community.

“As the firefighter registers, he is assigned a space to rest. Everything is perfectly set up for the replacements for tomorrow and the following days. We are very grateful,” he added.
And he added: “We want to thank all the neighbors and merchants and highlight the excellent willingness of hotels, hostels, cabin complexes, hotel chambers and the Municipal Sports Center for opening the doors of its facilities so that firefighters and rescuers from all over the country “They can rest after hard work.”

Among the victims are un retired and two members of the same family. Medical care was provided to relatives of the victims and rescuers for various reasons, and the search and debris removal tasks will continue until all the missing are located.
