Despite the development of the date, the only match that was not played was the duel between Romania and Kosovo because the visiting team left the field of play and the match was suspended, after the local stands, after an altercation between two footballers, began to shout for Serbia.

The internecine war in the Balkans caused irreparable damage to the involved countries. Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia in 2008, although the latter never recognized the emancipation and considers that territorial portion as a province.

This duel for League C had a peculiarity. Kosovo needed to win by three goals to achieve promotion. Following the refusal of their players to continue the match, UEFA will analyze the episode and, if they judge that Romania has to serve a penalty, they could consider the match lost, precisely 3-0.
