MAROPOR, leading brand for quality and design in dry construction
content2.png
MAROPOR is the first Argentine manufacturer, importer and exporter of dry construction products.
With more than 25 years of experience, it developed in the market with great presence due to its 2 main characteristics; the quality of the products and the services that accompany them, especially in the agility of deliveries, kindness and commitment to customers. It also operates as an ally of innovation and the development of new products.
Maropor began as a national pioneer in the production and marketing of decorative moldings. The entrepreneurial and constant innovative culture made it add different products such as varieties of guards, ceilings and thermal insulators. To manufacture these products, it had an 800m2 plant located in the northern area of the city of Rosario.
The firm always worked taking decorative polystyrene moldings under the “Decomar” brand as the most in-demand product. These were carried out using the roughing method with a machine manufactured by the same owners and a team that worked tirelessly to achieve optimal results.
Around 2002, when many companies were trying to survive the crisis, Maropor made a strong investment commitment and launched the second line of M moldings with a corner display, adopting its motto and main business characteristic: “Quality.”
In 2016, the company moved to Avenida Provincias Unidas 2346 to a new 7,500m2 plant with a complete renovation and adaptation based on its logistics and production needs. Furthermore, as a differential, it installs an anti-explosive shed, of which there are only approximately 10 units in the town of Rosario, ideal for the security it requires.
In 2017, it purchased industrial machinery for the manufacture of putties and adhesives of 3 types, for interior and exterior baseboards and moldings. In addition, it incorporates a polystyrene extrusion machine for the manufacture of moldings, making a great difference at the national level.
Over the years MAROPOR has become a leading brand, due to its excellent quality and design, forming part of the architecture of the most recognized buildings in the country, casinos, hotels and apart from international chains throughout the country. Currently the company has expanded its range of products, bringing its customers a greater variety, becoming the first and only manufacturer of products for construction, finishing and decoration.
To close the year, it will improve the customer experience with the launch of the new website and a large new showroom on the ground floor of the offices located next to the production plant, where it will show all its product lines such as interior moldings and exterior, PVC and removable ceilings and coverings, putties and adhesives, floors and baseboards, among others. Maropor continues to innovate and grow through its distributors spread throughout the country in a continuous search for new challenges.
Next year, the incorporation of machinery for the manufacture of new products is planned, always having innovation, growth and development as our motto.
The Electrical and Services Cooperative “Mariano Moreno” Ltda, since 1949 providing the best service to the people of Neujulienses
The “Mariano Moreno” Electrical and Services Cooperative Ltda. is a social and community company in the city of 9 de Julio, which was founded on November 26, 1949. Its cornerstone was the “Usina Eléctrica Popular SA”, created a August 15, 1930 by a group of neighbors mobilized for a noble cause that projected the future social and economic development of their community. Don Tomás Cosentino was the one who illuminated the will of those neighbors who created the first electric power plant on 9 de Julio.
The fight for this fundamental right for the lives of the people of Nine Julian was really arduous, in a difficult time for the country’s economy. But even so, the dream of Cosentino, Poratti, Viegas and many other men of good faith did not materialize until July 25, 1951, when the provision of electrical service in the city began.
From then on, CEyS has always been the meeting point of the community with social equality and prosperity, based on cooperative principles that promote values such as equality, equity, solidarity, democracy, responsibility, self-help and cooperation in their society.
The CEyS offers the services of distribution of electricity, natural gas, telephone, internet, running water and sewage (specifically for the towns of Naón and Patricios), ambulances and primary medical care in emergencies provided by the company CLYSA, funeral service and Wake Rooms; as well as the social and economic assistance offered by the CRECER sector, helping its associates access improvements in their homes or financial support for the elderly.
It offers quality service in all its areas, ensuring access to essential services for its associates and promoting the economic well-being of 9 de Julio.
CEyS celebrates its 75 years with the inauguration of its Community Solar Park: attentive to the new context of diversification of the energy matrix in the area and in the world, it has decided to carry out an electricity generation project based on solar energy, captured through panels photovoltaics located within the CEyS facilities; which will offer their associates the possibility of managing responsible use of energy, both in the private and citizen spheres.
This solar energy generation involves the installation, maintenance and control of technical components (battery storage, control and monitoring system) to maximize its benefits in the service redistribution network. Thus helping to reduce CO2 emissions and take care of the environment.
