An unknown young man attacked a 10-year-old boy in the courtyard of a house in Penza and fled, investigators are identifying the attacker. This was reported on January 22 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.
According to the investigation, on the afternoon of January 20, an unknown person attacked a child near house No. 2 on Glazunov Street in Penza. He struck the boy at least three times with a blunt hard object in the head area, causing serious bodily harm, and then fled the scene.
“The minor was hospitalized, he was provided with the necessary medical assistance,” the ministry’s press service said in a statement.
On the fact of beating, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempted murder of a minor”). Investigators are trying to identify the perpetrator.
The regional department of the UK, on the basis of the available video recording, transmitted the signs of a young man who attacked a child.
Presumably, a young man who looks 16-25 years old has a height of 170-180 cm, he is of a thin build. During the attack, he was wearing a knitted hat with a pom-pom, a dark jacket below the waist, a scarf, a sweatshirt with a hood, presumably green, dark pants, dark high boots. Behind him was a black backpack, the report says.
The prosecutor’s office of the region took control of the investigation of the criminal case, and also began checking the conditions for the upbringing and education of the injured child.
Earlier, on January 17, REN TV published a recording from the camera, which caught the moment of beating her child by a mother of many children. The incident occurred at the entrance of a house in the village of Yuganets, Nizhny Novgorod region. Judging by the footage, the mother even beat her son with her feet. She also yelled at the boy, using foul language, and demanded that he stop crying. The blows landed on the head. The boy unsuccessfully tried to cover himself with his hands. As a result, the woman pulled her son out of the entrance.
