Tigre: work on the High Complexity Hospital for Adults advances

The mayor Julio Zamora supervised the progress of the work of the future High Complexity Hospital for Adults. In this context, he stated: “It is a pride to see how the neighbors’ efforts and the dedication of this management allows us carry out the most important work in the Municipality of Tigre”.

Currently, they are running 800 square meters of slab on the front of the establishment, and progress continues on the bases and columns that will connect the front and back of the building, while the masonry is developed on the ground floor and upper floor.

In this sense, Zamora highlighted: “This hospital It will be the finishing touch for the Tigre health systemwhich already has the HDI, the health centers and the Hemodynamics Hospitalclose to completion. “All this has been achieved with exclusively municipal funds, thanks to the contribution and trust of the community.”

“The validation received in the last elections motivates us to continue working with the same conviction: transforming the dreams of neighbors into concrete realitieslike the one we are beginning to glimpse today,” said the communal chief.

The hospital will have various specialties for studies and treatments.

“We are finishing the first 11,000 square meters of construction of this hospital, who are part of the 14,000 planned for the first stage. A lot of technique, commitment and resources are being put in here that are being reflected in a health infrastructure that will benefit the entire community,” he highlighted.

The objective of the construction of the hospital

The hospital will have a wide range of serviceswhich include emergencies, operating rooms, intermediate and intensive care hospitalization, scheduled outpatient care, coronary unit, analysis laboratory, pathological anatomy, diagnostic imaging, dialysis, teaching and research.

In addition, there will be spaces for surgical treatmentshemodynamics, hemotherapy, blood donation posts and social service areas.

This new establishment will be added to the Municipality’s health network, which includes 23 primary care centers, three Immediate Diagnostic Hospitals (HDI) in Don Torcuato, Benavídez and Tigre Centro, the Ophthalmological Hospital, the Dental Hospital and the Tigre Emergency System (SET). Together, these spaces provide more than 1,700,000 services annually to the community.
