The agreement benefits the workers who are under collective bargaining agreement 547/08. This is an extra increase non-remunerative that will be settled in two installments: 2.5%, in December and the other, in January. Thus, once all the percentages have been paid, in the last month of the year, the average salary will be around $1,000,000.
The agreed increases will appear on the salary receipt as “Non-Remunerative Increase – December 2024 Agreement” and improvements must be taken into account “for the calculation of the annual supplementary salary and the calculation of compensation arising from the uncaused termination of the employment contract.”
New negotiations are coming
The General Secretary of the union, Armando Cavalieristated that this step “allows merchants to continue fighting inflation” and the Federation of Commerce as the business chamber of the activity assumed the commitment to resume negotiations in February “at the initiative of any of them.”
