A paragliding instructor and a tourist made a bad maneuver during a flight and ended up tangled in medium and low voltage cables.
Two paragliders got tangled this Saturday with medium and low voltage cables and left no light to three thousand people in the city of Bariloche, in the province of Río Negro. The curious accident happened in the morning and, fortunately, there were no fatalities.

The protagonists of the accident are a paragliding instructor and a tourist. While they were flying through the Rio Negro city, a bad maneuver caused them to get tangled in some electricity cables. This caused three thousand residents in the Otto Hill area to be left without electricity, according to the Bariloche Electricity Cooperative (CEB).
To rescue the paragliders, several people specialized in these cases had to be mobilized. A group of people went there. Melipal Volunteer Firefighters, an ambulance from the Ramón Carrillo hospital and members of the provincial police.
After the rescue, a CEB crew worked for hours to restore electricity service. He then issued a harsh statement criticizing the instructor’s recklessness. “Hitting electrical networks not only puts the lives of pilots and passengers at risk.but also generates massive interruptions in the electricity supply, affecting thousands of people,” he stated.

Fires in Bariloche: the fire has already consumed 1,500 hectares
The sources of the fire were identified in the Strict Reserve regionin the vicinity of Lake Los Manzanos in the southern part of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. After several hours of work to control the incident, the fire has already affected approximately 1,500 natural hectares.
