Power outages: more than 12,000 users are still without service in the AMBA

More than 12,000 users continue without electricity supply in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) – as revealed by the National Electricity Regulatory Entity – and there has already been more than one day without light. The blackout occurred due to strong storms that hit the territory at the beginning of the New Year.

At the beginning of the year, almost 100,000 users were affected by the blackout. The most affected areas are those that correspond to the Edesur service, including: Admiral Brown, Marble, Raphael Calzada, Avellaneda and Berazategui.

The drama of blackouts continues for more than 12,000 users in AMBA. In detail, as ENRE was able to compile, 9,410 of those affected correspond to Edesur while the 3,119 are from Edenor.

Regarding the areas that correspond to Edesurthose that are still without electricity supply are; Avellaneda; Berazategui; Canuelas; Esteban Echeverria; Ezeiza; Florencio Varela; Lanús; Lomas de Zamora; President Perón; Quilmes; Saint Vincent. In the Federal Capital, the most affected neighborhoods are Flores, La Boca and Monte Castro.
